The first person to live broadcast from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange Maria Bartiromo is an internationally acclaimed American television journalist who has many highly-rated shows under her belt. A veteran broadcaster with over twenty years of experience in reporting on business and the economics, she was instrumental in making CNBC to become one of the top channels for economics and business. Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn was born in America and has been working professionally for over 27 years. A gifted thespian, she has been working in the world of professional acting over the last 27 years. In 1990, she performed her stage debut with an Off-Broadway performance of The Big Funk written by John Patrick Shanley. She was then cast for her first role on television, The Perfect Tribute. Her breakthrough for her career was in 1992, as she played a supporting character in the film Basic Instinct. It was in the movie The Firm however that she got the role of female lead for the very first time and that too opposite famous actors such as Tom Cruise and Gene Hackman. Over the course of the 1990s Gwyneth worked together with Hugh Grant on Mickey Blue Eyes as well as Julie Andrews for Relative Values. Recently, she was the character Dr. Alex Blake (a police procedural-crime drama) in Criminal Minds.
