Growing up in Pennsylvania Molly began working professionally at age thirteen at Philadelphia the Prince Music Theater in a production called The Snow Queen. In the Arden Theater production of Into the Woods the actress won a Barrymore Award for playing Little Red Ridinghood. The role was reprised by Molly when she performed her Broadway debut in Into the Woods at Broadway in 2002. The show won her a Drama League Award for this performance. Molly was also part of the Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof, in 2004. She was a student at Princeton University as a Triangle Club Membership and earned an B.A. in Religion. She also appeared in the Disney film College Road Trip, playing Wendy Greenhut. Molly has appeared in several Off-Broadway productions including End Days, at Ensemble Studio Theater. In addition, she participated in TV shows such as Royal Pains or an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly has appeared in a variety of regional shows, such as The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee performed by Barrington Stage Company in 2008 and North Shore Music Theatre's 2010 The Diary of Anne Frank at the Westport Country Playhouse in which Molly played Anne. Molly was a part of several regional productions, such as The Diary of Anne Frank at Westport Country Playhouse's production in 2010. In this play she was the daughter of a teenager Ali.
